From dirt bikes to film…an unexpected origin story.

Undead Film Lab began in an unexpected place: a dirt-bike accident that left me with a spiral fracture of the tibia and fibula and temporarily sidelined my profession as a real estate photographer. During the slow months of recovery I rediscovered film photography from watching countless hours of YouTube videos on the subject. When I was finally able to walk again, I bought my first film camera and explored development techniques, different film stocks, so on and so on. I fell in love with the entire process from loading a camera to seeing developed negatives.

Living in Northern Nevada, I saw a real gap: a local, dedicated analog lab to serve the growing community of film shooters. Undead Film Lab was born to fill that need. We offer affordable film, development, and scanning, and we treat every roll as if it was our own. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been shooting for decades, we’re here to support your work with careful processing, thoughtful scans, and a commitment to keeping film alive.
