No matter where you are in the country, mail in your photographic film to Undead Film Lab for development and scanning. We can process C-41 35mm and disposables with more options coming soon. Our affordable film development service is especially useful to those who do not have access to a local film lab in Reno and to those who value quality, affordability, and speed. Place your order online, pack up your film, and we will handle the rest. If you choose to have your negatives mailed back we’ll mail them back to you after your scans have been sent. We provide various services like mail-in film development, scanning, and online film sales.

Our lab is located on the north end of Carson City, the capital of Nevada. We are Carson City’s favorite and only film lab locally owned and operated by photographers for photographers. We opened our doors to better serve the growing analog photography industry that very nearly died out. We believe film photography should be available and accessible to everyone no matter if you're a seasoned pro or just getting started.

How will you send me my scans? Once development and scanning is complete you will receive an email notification about your order and a separate email with a link to download your images.
What about those sweet sweet negatives? Your negatives will either be returned to you in the mail or you can pick up from our store; uncut and unsleeved in a padded envelope free of charge or we can cut and sleeve them for additional cost in archival binder ready pages. Don’t care about the whole point of film photography with it being a tangible art in a digital world? We can disposes of your negatives too but we really DO NOT recommend this option.

How will you send me my scans? Once scanning is complete you will receive an email notification about your order and a separate WeTransfer email with a link to download your images.
What scan size should I get? Check out our scanning page on the film 101 info page.
Negative return? All negatives received for scan only will be returned in the same condition they are received. We do not discard negatives that arrive to the shop for our Scan Only service.
Please add Negative Returns for all negatives mailed into the lab to avoid unnecessary email correspondence so we can get your negatives back to you faster.
